WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Medically guided weight management in midlife.

When weight, appetite or metabolism start to change, it is often about more than discipline. gynxtra combines blood results, medical review and individual support - including medication options when clinically appropriate.

The process

How it works

01

Book your initial consultation

Book your initial consultation and complete your medical history questionnaire beforehand.

02

Targeted diagnostics

If further assessment is appropriate, your physician may recommend targeted diagnostics. Current and relevant medical records will be taken into account.

03

Results consultation

Your doctor reviews everything and creates your personal recommendation.

04

Start treatment when appropriate

Based on your situation, your physician guides you through the medically appropriate next steps.

Your medical assessment

Your initial consultation brings clarity to your next medical step. If medically indicated, targeted diagnostics may complement the assessment.

If medically indicated

Targeted diagnostics

If further assessment is appropriate, your physician may recommend targeted diagnostics. The scope and costs will be discussed with you in advance.

Your physician-led care

For ongoing treatment, we generally plan your care over six months. This is clinical planning, not a minimum term. Your physician will recommend the follow-up cadence based on your therapy.

Monthly follow-up

CHF 190 / month

Physician-led follow-up each month — for phases that require closer monitoring of effectiveness, tolerability or dosage.

Planned monthly and can be cancelled before the next prescription is issued.

Quarterly follow-up

CHF 285 / quarter

Equivalent to CHF 95 / month

Physician-led follow-up every three months — when your treatment is well established.

Planned and billed in three-month periods.

Included in both follow-up plans

  • Physician-led follow-up consultations and check-ins
  • Chat with the medical team in the patient area
  • Monitoring of progress, tolerability and dosage
  • Personal treatment plan
  • Medical reports and digital documentation
  • Prescription management and delivery through the partner pharmacy

Billed separately: Medication and additional laboratory services.

Treatment options

Medication can be part of the plan - but never the first step.

If your results and medical profile support it, your doctor may review medication options such as GLP-1-based therapies. Any decision is individual, medically guided and based on your results.

GLP-1-based therapy

For suitable patients with a medical indication.

Metabolic coaching

Support with nutrition, muscle, movement and daily habits.

Monitoring

Regular review of weight, lab values and tolerability.

Medication is only recommended when medically appropriate - following medical assessment and depending on symptoms, results and risk profile.
