What the price reflects
You pay for medical responsibility, not access.
Four principles apply to every gynxtra service, whichever path your physician recommends.
Physician-led, not soldWhat you pay for is medical time and medical responsibility: assessment, treatment plan, follow-up. No billing by time spent.
Prices upfront, no hidden costsYou see every amount before you decide. If diagnostics or medication are added, your physician tells you the scope and the cost beforehand.
No obligation to continueThe initial consultation is a one-off service. Your physician advises whether ongoing care makes sense, and the decision is yours.
Cancel when it no longer fitsMonthly care ends with the current monthly period, at the latest before the next prescription is issued. With quarterly care, the quarterly period you have already paid for runs to its end.

Your initial consultation brings clarity to your next medical step. Where it is medically indicated, targeted diagnostics complement the assessment. Once treatment begins, you stay under continuous physician-led care.

Follow-up with your physician every month, for phases in which effect, tolerability or dosage need to be guided closely. You can stop at any time, and the current monthly period runs to its end.

Equivalent to CHF 95 per monthFollow-up with your physician every three months, once your treatment is well established. You pay for three months in advance. You can cancel at any time, and the quarterly period you have already paid for runs to its end.
Where medically indicated: targeted diagnostics. Your physician discusses the scope and the cost with you in advance.

What the price does not cover.
The price of your care covers the medical service. Two items may be added depending on what you need, and you are told about both in advance.

Not covered by insurance
A self-pay service, with prices shown upfront.
gynxtra does not bill health insurers. You pay for your initial consultation, your diagnostics and your ongoing care directly, at the prices you see here. Reimbursement through basic insurance is not provided for. Medication prescribed by your physician is also paid for by you.

Am I the right candidate?
- Between 38 and 65 years old
- Typical perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms
- You are not yet taking hormones, or you would like an existing hormone therapy reviewed
- Resident in Switzerland
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time, and there is no minimum term. Monthly care ends with the current monthly period, at the latest before the next prescription is issued. With quarterly care, the quarterly period you have already paid for runs to its end and is not refunded in part, and during that time your follow-up and your prescription continue as usual. Medically, we normally plan treatment over about six months. That is a planning horizon, not a contractual commitment.
What do diagnostics cost?
Your physician recommends targeted diagnostics only where they are medically indicated. She discusses the scope and the cost with you in advance.
Is medication included in the price?
No. Medication, and any additional laboratory services, are billed separately and are not included in the price of physician-led care.
Do I have to book ongoing care after the initial consultation?
No. The initial consultation is a one-off service. Your physician advises whether ongoing care makes sense, and the decision is yours.
