Understand what's driving your symptoms,
together with your specialist.
Start with a short free fit-check. If gynxtra is right for you, you book a medical initial consultation: 1:1 by video, with a personal assessment and a recommendation on whether and which diagnostics make sense.
Medically reviewed · Swiss FMH physician
Ready? Start with 5 short questions.
The fit-check is free, takes less than two minutes and shows whether gynxtra is right for you.
A conversation that starts where it matters.
You don't start with a blood test, you start with your physician. She places your situation in context and decides together with you which steps genuinely make sense.
Medical history questionnaire beforehand
A structured, clinical questionnaire covering your medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Completed at home before you speak.
1:1 video consultation
A dedicated appointment with your specialist FMH. She listens, places your symptoms in a medical context, and answers your questions directly.
Personal assessment
You receive a clear, medical assessment of your situation, not a generic answer.
Recommendation on diagnostics
Your physician tells you whether and which diagnostics make sense. As a rule a targeted metabolic and hormone check follows, unless you already bring current prior findings.
Your prior findings count
Do you already have current lab values or your own diagnostics? Bring them along, we review them directly in the initial consultation.
A clear next step
You leave the conversation with a clear next step, whether targeted diagnostics, treatment, or nothing for now.

A targeted blood check helps show what.
Many symptoms in midlife can feel similar, but may have different causes: hormones, thyroid function, stress regulation, metabolism or inflammation. A targeted blood check brings clarity here.
If further assessment is appropriate, your physician may recommend targeted diagnostics. The scope and costs will be discussed with you before any further step begins; current and relevant medical records can be taken into account.
Key panel areas
Clinical standard
Not wellness. Medicine.
The Diagnostics Package uses certified Swiss laboratory analysis, not wellness panels or consumer testing kits. Your results are reviewed by a licensed physician, not an algorithm.
TAP II self-test
At-home collection, clinical quality
The TAP II system collects a venous-quality blood sample at home using a simple, painless lancet. Results are equivalent to a standard venous draw processed in a certified lab.

Dr. med. Bettina von Seefried
Founder · Swiss-licensed physician · Metabolic health specialist
gynxtra was founded after years of clinical practice in Switzerland, during which a consistent gap was observed: women in perimenopause and menopause receiving fragmented, symptom-only care without the diagnostic foundation that high-quality treatment decisions require.
gynxtra follows a structured clinical methodology. Every assessment begins with a medical conversation and, where useful, targeted diagnostics, ensuring a grounded, personalised medical recommendation.
After the initial consultation, you decide together how to continue.
When ongoing treatment is medically appropriate, gynxtra offers physician-led care after the medical assessment.
Physician-led care
For patients where ongoing treatment is clinically appropriate, a medically appropriate form of follow-up is proposed after the consultation.
Discussed at consultationMetabolic coaching
Medically supervised lifestyle, nutrition, and metabolic optimisation support - structured around your clinical profile, not generic advice.
Discussed at consultationProgress and follow-up
Medical check-ins to guide progress, tolerability and dosage, and to adjust treatment where needed.
Discussed at consultationOngoing care is never assumed or pre-sold. It is proposed only where clinically appropriate, following the medical assessment.
What you need to know before you start.
What does the initial consultation cost?
The initial consultation costs CHF 250 as a one-time fee. If further diagnostics or ongoing treatment are medically appropriate, your physician will discuss the recommended scope and costs with you before any further step begins.
Does the blood test come before or after the consultation?
If further assessment is appropriate, your physician may recommend targeted diagnostics after the consultation. Current and relevant medical records can be taken into account.
How does the at-home blood self-test work?
When the diagnostics package is due, your TAP II kit arrives by post. You collect a small blood sample yourself using the included lancet and collection card, then return it by prepaid post. The process takes under 10 minutes.
How quickly do I get an appointment?
The initial consultation is available soon, without a long waiting list. You choose your slot directly when booking. If diagnostics follow afterwards, lab analysis then takes a few working days up to the results consultation.
What happens after the consultation?
Your physician delivers a personal recommendation. Depending on your situation, this may mean clarity without further steps, targeted diagnostics or physician-led care.
Is this available outside Switzerland?
Our physician-led care is designed for patients resident in Switzerland. If you live abroad, ongoing care is generally not something we can provide. Write to us via the contact form and we will tell you honestly what is possible in your situation.
The clearest picture of your health.
